The Municipality
of the District of Barrington was incorporated in 1879 and is located
on the southwestern tip of Nova Scotia.

West Head Take Out, accommodations and many wharves. Claiming to be the
capitol of baseball, in Shelburne County.

town of Clark's Harbour , our famous Important Bird Area and the birth
place of the work horse of the Atlantic, The Cape Island Fishing
Boat. Stop by the Visitor Information centre in Clark's Harbour
to learn more about this island filled with history and culture for you
to visit. Important places to stop are the Archelaus Smith Museum,
Saeside Heritage Centre, The Hawk Beach, The Drowned Forest, West Head
Wharf and North East Point Beach.

Shelburne |
| The scenery in Shelburne is
breathtaking. Miles of forests surrounding crystal lakes and crashing
ocean. The air is fresh and clear. The charm of the Loyalist days is
still felt in our county but amongst the history, is everything one

town offers all the amenities and all within walking distance. Enjoy
fresh seafood at several restaurants. Unwind and relax in the quiet and
peaceful surroundings or enjoy various local recreational facilities.

courts as well as several smaller beaches to explore and all within the
town. The people are friendly and always willing to chat about the
history of the area and to give advice on what to see and do. Leave
