In June, the Shelburne County Lobster
Festival gets under full swing. July is full of
events
featuring the annual Founders' Days , Women's
Harmony Bazaar a festival of Women and Song, plus
Canada Day celebrations in
Clarks
Harbour and Lockeport,
regattas and sail races,
the waterfront Parade of Lights. In August,
Shelburne County is host to two exhibitions plus the popular Lockeport Sea Derby, and the Shag Harbour UFO Incident Festival.
September features our very own Whirligig Festival and Lights
Along the Shore, which celebrates our many Lighthouses along the South Shore.
